Girls Inc. of Wayne County is offering early October workshops to help local girls and women develop their leadership skills.

Both will be at Girls Inc., 1407 S. Eighth St., Richmond.

The women’s leadership conference from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, offers networking and topics such as elevating and delegating to strengths, finances, growth mindset and inclusivity. Speakers include Carla Messer, Katie Koglman, Alison Webb and Paige Crosset.

Reservations, which are $25 and include lunch, are due Sept. 27 at wwn.to/gileadership24.

Then, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, girls can learn about career readiness, college preparation, finding their spark and being an inclusive leader from Christy Tollett and Crosset. Sessions are ideal for grades 7-12. There’s no cost, but registration is required at wwn.to/giworkshop24.
