Bicyclists of all ages and skill levels are invited to join the 15th annual fundraiser that buys shoes for local kids.

The ReidRide begins at 8 a.m. Aug. 10.

Participants can choose an 8-mile family route or routes of 15 or 30 miles. Much of the ride is on Cardinal Greenway, but the routes also include time on Carlos, Davis Meyers, Round Barn, Pleasant Plain, Flatley, Tingler and/or Industries roads and Union Pike.

Registration is $15 per adult because of special anniversary pricing. Ages 17 and younger pay no fee.

Through sponsorships and registrations, more than 1,500 pairs of shoes are provided each year to kids in communities served by Reid.

Nearly 7,000 participants have joined the event since 2009, and more than $718,000 has been raised. The 2023 event drew more than 265 riders.

Registration is available at reidhealth.org/reidride, and donations from non-riders may be sent online or to Reid Health Foundation at 1100 Reid Parkway, Richmond, IN 47374.
