Sue Ann (Query) Wissler went to her final reward Sunday, January 22, 2023. Sue was the middle child of Harland and Ruth (Paul) Query born October 27th, 1942. She was a graduate of New Lisbon High School and Indiana University. She retired from American United Life and spent many years as a Certified Tax Professional both with H&R Block and independently.
She was a life-time member of the New Lisbon Christian Church. She loved to sing and participated in the Choir among all her church activities over the years.
Sue was a kind and generous woman who loved her family more than anything. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Those who knew were blessed to have someone who would help in every way she was able.
She survived by her children; son, Chris Wissler; daughter Lori (Jason) Rector-Wortham, and step daughter Sandy Smith; by her cherished grandchildren Amy (Michael) Winchester, Nick Wissler, Ally Wissler, Mark Wasson, Kelli Wasson, Jennifer Smith, and JR Smith
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kathryn Devaughn, her step daughter Kathy Wasson and her granddaughter Victoria Lawson.
Visitation for Sue will take place on Friday January 27, 2023 at Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad St in New Castle from 10:00 ~ 11:00 Am. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 Am on Friday. Burial will take place at New Lisbon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or Peyton Manning Childrens Hospital.
