House inducted into Fairs Hall of Fame

Sandy House is a very familiar face to summer fairgoers. During the week-long Wayne County 4-H Fair, she can be seen making countless trips in her golf cart to make sure the annual event is running smoothly. Recently, House was inducted into the Indiana Association of Fairs Hall of Fame, the first person to be inducted from Wayne County since this award was started in 1985. Each year, one person is nominated from each of the four statewide districts for their efforts related to their county’s fair. “I am honored to receive this award but didn’t get this by myself,” House said.
