Stephen Larry Starling, 82, of Hagerstown, passed away at his home on Monday, March 6, 2023, surrounded by family.
He was born in Muncie on August 8, 1940 to David and Mable (Myers) Starling. Stephen served with the US Air Force from 1960 to 1963. He was an airplane mechanic, stationed in Germany. He was a 54 year member of American Legion Post 333 and a retired employee of Perfect Circle / Dana Corp.
Survivors include 2 children, Athenia (Frank) Kelley and Eddie (Gloria) Starling and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 AM to 12 noon on Thursday, March 9, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 12 PM. Pastor Mort Radford will officiate. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post 333.
