Rose Anna Minor, 69, of Richmond, Indiana transitioned on March 22, 2023. She was born August 30, 1953 to young newlyweds William and Mary Ann Minor of Richmond, Indiana. She was the eldest of 10 siblings. At a early age she took on caregiving responsibilities that led her to leave school. She was proud she was able to care for her siblings and loved all her family soo much.

Rose attended Richmond High School until 1970. She later took cosmetology classes and then childcare and child development classes through IVY Tech. She was a homemaker and a loving mother who always made her daughters feel very special and very loved. She was also the fun mom. She loved Prince so much she took both her daughters to see Purple Rain on opening night in 1984, a memory they will never forget. Rose loved music, from 80’s rock, Michael Jackson to Guns and Roses and country. Rose had a love for animals. She volunteered at help shelters in her earlier years. She loved art. She was an extremely talented artist and writer. She was a friend to everyone she met. She had a very sweet disposition, she liked to joke and she liked to flirt. She was a free spirit.

Rose was loved by many.

She is survived by her daughters Rachelle Robinson of Richmond, Indiana and Christine Wolfe (William) of Cambridge City, Indiana;  grandchildren Ann Marie Wolfe of Richmond, Indiana, Thomas Wolfe and Jordan Wolfe of Cambridge City, Indiana; sisters Lisa Miller, Becky Minor and Rhonda Minor; brothers Bub Minor, Chuck Minor (Connie), Mark Minor (Onnie), Nick Minor (Teresa), Rick Minor and Joe Potter; nephews, Mark Minor Jr., Matt Minor, Bobby Minor, Andy Minor, Ben Minor, Josh Minor, Eric Minor, and Caleb Minor; nieces Leanna Hammock, Arletty Minor and Steely Miller;  and many close family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Ann Minor, maternal grandparents Hazel McCoy (Mann) and Harry McCoy, paternal grandparents Robert S. Minor and Thelma Minor (Weaver), aunt Betty Grubbs, uncle Dickey Minor, uncle Nicky minor, niece Sarah Minor, cousin Georganna, and her friend, her daughter Rachelle’s father, Bill Robinson.

The Family would like to thank staff that helped care for her over the years. She considered alot of you family and friends, and loved you dearly. Special mention of family members and friends;  Vicki Robinson, Brenda and Charles Roberson, Roberson family, Paula Minor, Helen Grubbs, Kim Cox, Kathy Spiers, Pam Karanovich and her childhood friend Janie.

Rose’s services will be held at Community Family Funeral Home on Tuesday March 28th. Her calling will be held from 10am-12 pm followed by the funeral at 12pm. Burial will be held at Earlham Cemetery immediately after.
