Robert Joseph Teegarden, 84, of Richmond, passed away on February 27, 2023. He was born October 7, 1938, in Richmond to Robert Horner and Bernice Longstreth Teegarden; he lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico before moving back to Richmond 13 years ago.
Robert served in the United States Air Force; during his time of service, he played trumpet in the Air Force Band.
He was a Psychologist working with the State of Nevada Correctional Facility.
He is survived by his daughter Kerrie Cruickshank of Massachusetts, three grandchildren William, Molly, and Adelyn, five nieces and nephews Debra Blum, Catherine Allison, William Spotts, Gary Spotts, and Michael Spotts; also including his significant other Elsie Klute.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Beverly Spotts.
Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 3, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Micah Leavell officiating; burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing, Indiana with Military Honors.
