Randall “Randy” B. Parsley, 69, a lifelong resident of Connersville, passed away Monday evening, February 27, 2023 at Rosebud Village, Richmond.
He was born January 1, 1954 in Connersville to Marvin and Joan Smith Parsley.
On August 17, 1991, he married Mary Jane Kunkel in Connersville. Mrs. Parsley passed away January 13, 2016.
For a time, Randy worked as a driver for the Fayette Count Senior Center.
He was a member of Connersville Baptist Temple, and in his leisure time enjoyed writing stories, reading, listening to music, and playing drums.
Survivors include three sisters, Sandy Mills of Connersville, Candy (Doug) Tutterrow of Fountain City, Indiana, and Tracie Schroeder of Richmond, Indiana; a brother, Bryan (Angie) Parsley of Evansville, Indiana; ten nieces and nephews, Ryan (Victoria) Hreno, Brooke Mills, Kyle (Lindsey) Griffith, Mikala Tutterrow, Ashley Parsley, Jeremiah (Jamie) Parsley, Taylor (Lauryn) Parsley, Abbie (Jacob) Payne, Gage Schroeder, Brooklyn Schroeder; several great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 24 years, Mary Jane Parsley; and a niece, Nicole Halveland.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Bryan Parsley will officiate. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
