Michael J. Toschlog, age 41 of New Paris, Ohio died Sunday, February 5, 2023, from injuries after a farm accident in Jefferson Township, Preble County, Ohio.
Born on November 8, 1981, in Richmond, Indiana he was a 2000 National Trail High School graduate. He pursued his lifelong dream of farming with his family in Jefferson Township; Employed with the Preble County Engineers Office for 15 years, lifelong member of St. John’s Catholic Church in New Paris, Ohio. He enjoyed meeting people, making many friends, and spending time with his family. He loved working with and teaching his sons about farming.
Preceded in death by his grandparents: Clement & Lucille Toschlog.
Survived by wife of 16 years: Julie A. (Meyer) Toschlog; Parents: John Bernard & Laura Ann (Ward) Toschlog of New Paris, Ohio; Sons: Henry M. Toschlog; Thomas C. Toschlog, and John L. Toschlog; Sister: Emma D. Toschlog of New Paris, OH and many other family and close friends.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday February 10, 2023, at Eaton Community Church – 813 Camden Road Eaton, Ohio. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Visitation Catholic Church 407 East Main Street Eaton, Ohio with Rev. David Doseck officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio.
