Michael J. Lake, age 69, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Forest Park Health Campus.
Born September 1, 1953, in Winchester, Indiana, to Samuel and Betty Riley Lake, Michael was a life-long resident of this area. He worked as a welder at several factories. Michael loved fishing, bowling, and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
Survivors include his daughter, Ashlee Dearduff; son, Craig Smith; granddaughters, Chasity Hardin and Elizabeth Dearduff; sister, Ruth Lake of Chillicothe, Ohio; brother, Timothy Lake of Winchester, Indiana; nieces; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Naomi Lake.
At the request of the family, there will be no services for Michael J. Lake. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
