Lowell Dean Morris Sr., age 80, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, January 12, 2023, at U. C. Health in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born July 27, 1942, in Richmond, Indiana, to Herman and Leatha Pearl Farmer Morris, Lowell was a life-long resident of this area. He was a 1961 graduate of Centerville High School. Lowell served in the United States Air Force. He was a supervisor for Fowler Vending. Lowell was a long-time member of Knights of St. John. He enjoyed making furniture in his wood shop, working in his yard, and sitting under his favorite shade tree relaxing. Lowel loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Helen L. Morris; sons, Lowell Dean Morris Jr. of Richmond, and Mike (Anita) Morris of Ocala Florida; daughter, Michelle (Dino Mussoni) Younger of Richmond; grandchildren, Christopher and Shane Morris, Stephanie Walker, Nichole and Kayla Younger; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Vornauf and Mary Schindeldecker; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Borden; and brother, Glen Morris.
A Celebration of Life for Lowell Dean Morris Sr. will be held at The Knights of St. John, 455 South 5th Street, Richmond, Indiana, Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Doan & Mills Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
