Lloyd W. Arnold passed away, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Reid Health, Richmond, with his family by his side.
Born January 1, 1940 to Clinton and Albie Arnold, Lloyd was the first baby born in Randolph County that year. A 1958 graduate of Union High School, Modoc, he worked as an operator at Anchor Glass, Winchester, until his retirement.
He loved his wife, Mike, celebrating over 57 years as husband and wife. She preceded him in death by just a few hours. Lloyd had a passion in life for fishing, motorcycles and enjoying his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He gave them all nicknames, and was always giving them his full attention.
In addition to his parents, and wife, Lloyd was preceded in death by his brother, Sheldon Arnold, and his sister, Hazel Nunley.
He is survived by a family, who will miss him greatly, children, Brenda Henry, Brian (Sadee) Arnold, Cassandra Minch, and Betsy (Jerry) Shroyer; grandchildren, Nicholas (Kylee LaChelle) Mastin, Josh (Christy) Arnold, Austin Arnold, Stephanie (Brandon) Meadows, Lyndsey Lou Bop (Dustin) Forster, Michal (John) Bozarth, James Shroyer, Joshua Shroyer, and Jordan Shroyer; and, great-grandchildren, Tyler (Brianna) Etter, Johnnie Bozarth, Colten Honaker, Abigail Meadows, Sophia Rose Meadows, Kaisen Forster, Kenzlie Forster, Scarlett Forster, Cooper Mastin, Elyse Turner, Bentley Spiers, Liam Spiers, Waylon Kutz and Hayden Arnold.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Reid Hospice for the love and respect shown to Lloyd, Mike and their family in those last days.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Reid Hospice, c/o Reid Health, Richmond.
