Linda Ladd, age 86, passed away on February 24, 2023 at Reid Health in Richmond. Linda was born on February 29, 1936, in Connersville, the daughter of the late Shelby and Gladys Millspauph Kelley.
Linda was united in marriage on April 16, 1996, to Martin David Ladd. They enjoyed 17 years together prior to his death in 2013.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Linda loved sharing the message of the Kingdom.
Linda was retired, having worked at Kroger, Long’s Grocery, County Market, and Dollar General. She also worked in home healthcare. She was an avid reader, loved decorating her home and was known for her beautiful flowers from her flower gardens.
She has left behind to cherish her love and memories, her daughters, Dianna (Steve) Howard, Eileen Moore, and Patty (Steve) Aubuchon; her step children, Virginia (Curtis) Murphree, Willian (Lanae) Ladd and Ernest (Ruth Ann) Ladd; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Besides her husband, David, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Edgar Kelley, Irvin Kelley, Herbert Kelley, Harold Kelley, Richard Kelley, Edna Turner and Norma Warren; son-in-law, Ron Moore; and stepchildren, Joyce Ladd and Christopher Eugene Ladd.
Respecting and honoring Linda’s wishes, cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 4, 2023, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1419 South J Street, Richmond, IN. Brother Larry Spurgeon will conduct services at 3:30 pm.
