Leona M. Weatherly, 97, of Richmond, died Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Brickyard Golden Living. She was born May 1, 1925, in Eaton, Ohio to Waldo and Elsie Weist and lived here most of her life. She formerly worked for Harvester Group and retired from Wayne Corporation after working for 27 1/2 years. She loved her family and enjoyed shopping and Bingo. She was a member of the First Church of God.
Survivors include her granddaughter Wendi (Gary) Stapleton, and two great-grandchildren Casey (Zachary) McCollum and Sean Stapleton (Allison Johnson). She is preceded in death by her first husband Eddie Elmore, her second husband Lyman Weatherly, her daughter Marcia Juhasz, and her son Kent Elmore. Leona’s family would like to express their appreciation to Brickyard Golden Living for their kind care given to her.
