John D. Gibson, age 38, passed away on February 7, 2023, at the home of his parents. John was born in Rushville, Indiana on April 23, 1984, the son of Harold and Ethel Isaacs Gibson.
John was a Wine Stewart at Kroger. He started his career with Kroger at the age of 18. You could find John relaxing while playing video games and taking family vacations. He enjoyed history, politics, taking Jeep rides and fishing. Most of all he treasured the time spent with his daughter.
Those surviving who will cherish his memory include his parents, Harold and Ethel Gibson; his daughter, Emma Gibson; siblings, Mark (Angela) Gibson and Benita Gibson; and his special friend Jenifer Snyder and her son Jacob. He will be thought of often by is sister-in-law, Linda Gibson, several aunts, uncles, niece and nephews as well as his many friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Greg Gibson, maternal grandparents Wade and Ella Mae Isaacs and his paternal grandparents, Moss and Nellie Gibson.
Friends and family may gather on Saturday February 11, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor David Pinter and Reverend Robert E. Lee on Sunday February 12, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Laurel North Cemetery.
