Jeffery Carpenter, age 63, of New Castle, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born October 24, 1959, in New Castle, Indiana to the late Robert E. Carpenter and Imogene (Loveless) Carpenter.
Jeffery was a 1978 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He worked in Construction as a painter and drywaller. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening in which he was quite good at. Jeffery also enjoyed football and always seemed to be rooting for whoever was winning. He also enjoyed the woods and the different sceneries he would encounter. He spent many wonderful summers down on the Ohio River.
Jeffery is survived by his mother Imogene; significant other Jewel Groce: Jason (Heather) Groce and Amber (Adam) Chambers who he was instrumental in raising them: sister Cynthia (Dan) Bullard; 2 brothers Michael & Joe Carpenter; special cousin Don (Linda) Loveless; special fishing buddies Chuck & Keith, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Graveside services will take place at South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition in New Castle on Thursday February 16, 2023, at 1pm.
