James Michael Franklin, 65, of Connersville, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Hickory Creek Healthcare.
He was born October 17, 1957 in Homestead, Florida to James O. and Patty Ann Oliphant Franklin. In 1959, his family moved to the Greenfield, Indiana area. There, Mike worked for a time at Shared, Inc.
In 1990, he came to Connersville and became part of the Residential CRF family.
Mike loved trains and video games. A hard worker, he enjoyed bailing hay on the family farm. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his nephews.
Survivors include four siblings, Leslie Alan (Jean) Franklin of Greenfield, Indiana, Cheryl Faye (Ralph) Gillam of Kokomo, Indiana, David Wayne (Lori) Franklin of Greenfield, and Ruby Frances Temple of New Whiteland, Indiana; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Robert Temple; and a nephew, Jeremy Franklin.
Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Russell officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Greenfield, Indiana.
