James “Bud” Burge, 89, of Winchester, IN passed away, Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Reid Health & Hospital of Richmond, IN. He was born June 3, 1933 in Winchester, IN the son of Paul and Edith (Wagner) Burge. He was a 1951 graduate of McKinley High School. He honorably served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Bud retired from both, Overmyer Mould Company as a Mould Maker and Walmart as Maintenance Personnel. While working at these locations, he still had many other sideline jobs. He believed that working hard was most important to provide for his family. He was a past member of the Lynn Lion’s Club and Past Member of Phil Delta. He was a current member of the Farmland American Legion. He practiced his faith attending Lynn Friends Church. He enjoyed spending his leisure time fishing, hunting, cutting wood, gardening, bowling and camping.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Delight “Dee” Burge; three children, Steve Burge (wife, Lori), Debbie Addington (husband, Dave) and Vickie Baldwin (husband, David); six grandchildren, Justin (Emily), Drew (Lacie), Scott (Michelle), Brian (Christine), Jeremy (Brittany) and Dustin (Carrie); 14 great grandchildren; a brother, David Burge (wife, Susie); and a sister, Mary Alice Clements. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a private graveside service. Burial will be in Fountain Park Cemetery of Winchester, IN.
