Emma Rita “Pinky” Ridge, age 95, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Friends Fellowship Community.
Born August 30, 1927, in Wayne County, Indiana, to Sam and Marcella Koger Graf, Pinky was a life-long resident of Richmond. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kiwanianne Club, Green Acres Parents Association, and served as a Red Cross volunteer at Reid Health.
Survivors include her husband of 75 years, Samuel J. Ridge, to whom she was married November 6, 1948; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Sue Ridge, on November 6, 2017; and sisters, Hazel Bone, on May 15, 2014, and Anna Mae Faidley on October 20, 2015.
Visitation for Emma Rita “Pinky” Ridge will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Carley Brewster officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
