Earl Douglas Sparks, age 52 of Connersville, passed away on Wednesday March 1, 2023, Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis. Doug was born on December 20, 1970, in Connersville, the son of Jacqueline Neukam Lutz and the late Earl Sparks.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Ivy Tech. Doug was employed at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville as an RN. You could often find him relaxing by reading, camping, or going shopping. Above all he treasured the time spent with his family and friends.
His memories will be forever loved and cherished by his siblings, Lavory (Allison) Sparks, Nikki (Al) Odbert, Kelle (Eric) Miokiff, Cam Sparks and Cassie (Casey) Lockhart. He will be thought of often my several nieces and nephews as well as his best friend Davida Cox.
Besides his father he is preceded by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday March 8, 2023, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th St., Connersville. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon by Pastor Chris Lovett. Burial will follow at Lick Creek Cemetery.
