Donna Sue Fleenor, age 63, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at home.
Born July 6, 1959, in Winchester, Indiana, to Eston and Carolyn Joan Norris Fowler, Donna was a life-long resident of this area. She was an active member of Living Word Christian Fellowship for many years. Donna worked at several places throughout her life, but ultimately, she chose a career that helped others in the community. She earned a degree in Nursing on May 7, 2011, and worked at local hospitals, until she decided to do travel nursing. Donna worked in multiple states and made friends everywhere she went.
Survivors include her sons, Jeremy Ballinger (Renee Mullins) and Nathan Fleenor; two sisters, Cindy Elliott and Peggy Fowler; four grandchildren, Noah Ballinger, Dillon Ballinger (Kiersten Ziegler), Shauna Mullins (Johnathan Snyder), and Cari Mullins (Joshua Dixon); very good friend and former husband, Will Fleenor; three great-grandchildren, Isabella Dixon, Hunter Snyder, and Hayden Snyder; sister-in-law, Venecia Fowler; and best friends, Nevine Anderson and Marla Jansing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amanda Fleenor; and brothers, Kevin Fowler and Jerry Fowler.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Donna Sue Fleenor held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
