David Stockton, 76, of New Castle passed away on the evening of Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Henry Community Health in New Castle.
He was born on July 19, 1946 in Kentucky, a son of the late Glenn and Reba Stockton.
David proudly served his country in the United States Navy and worked as a machine operator at Chrysler Corporation in New Castle. He deeply enjoyed hunting and fishing
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Brian (Angie) Stockton, Kelli (Jeremy) Blackburn and Melissa (Bob) Yeager; grandchildren, Hailie Stockton, Peyton Stockton, Gannan Stockton, Gracie Stockton, Jessica (Jake) Scharborough, Kelsey (Ryan) Santini, Ashlynn Blackburn, Devon Blackburn, Sydney Yeager and Madison Yeager; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Gavin, Paisley, Eastyn, Adalyn, Knox, Zoey, Raiden, Dylan, Athena and Enzlee; a brother, Dale (Georgeann) Stockton and nephews, Douglas (Crystal) Stockton and Christopher (Theresa) Stockton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brent Stockton and a sister, Linda Prince.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm, Friday, February 17, 2023 at The Place, 205 S 21st Street, New Castle, IN 47362.
Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 pm prior to the service at the church.
