Carol A. Lewis, age 73, of New Castle passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Waters of New Castle. She was born April 28, 1949, in New Castle, Indiana to JoAnne (Hendricks) Lewis & the late Walter Lewis.
Carol graduated from Walter P. Chrysler Memorial High School in 1967. She was a fighter and fought and battled through many health issues throughout her life. She loved playing bingo and enjoyed cooking before her health would not allow. More than anything, her time with her family was something she cherished most.
Carol is survived by her mother JoAnne; children Angie Simpkins and Randy (Carrie) Lewis; grandchildren Bryce (Samantha Giebel) Simpkins & Mitchell (Elisabeth Armor) Simpkins; great-grandson Krew Simpkins and 1 on the way and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Carol is proceeded in death by her father listed above.
Graveside Services will take place at South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition in New Castle on Wednesday February 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM.
