Billy C. Thomas, 91, of Richmond, passed away on March 6, 2023, at Reid Health after a short illness. He was born January 8, 1932, in Kirkville, Kentucky to Aaron Albertus and Georgia Ann Hurt Thomas and lived here most of his life.
He worked for Wallace Sheet Metal.
He is survived by his three daughters Rosetta Murray, Vicki (Jeff) Morris, Sandy McCoy, and son-in-law Darrell Skaggs; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including a special granddaughter Stephanie McCoy; one sister Betty Turpin, one brother Junior Thomas.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bessie Chappell Thomas, one daughter Betty Ann Skaggs, one son William “Billy” R. Thomas, and six brothers David, JC, Paul, Charles, Cecil, and Harold Thomas.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, March 13, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home; burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
