Bill Colburn, passed away at his residence on January 14, 2023. He was born October 18, 1961, in Russellville, Arkansas, to Larry Colburn and Ruth Gideon.
Bill lived in New Castle, Indiana. He was retired but had worked for The Laborers Union, Kessler’s Sport Shop and Sanyo. Bill was a very social person who enjoyed helping others and watching the news. He also enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids and watching them play their sports. If you knew Bill, you’d know him to be loving, caring and was never shy to offer his opinion.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, one daughter and two sons: Jordan Colburn (36), Kayla Ross (27) and Seth Colburn (14); four grandchildren: Jackson Fields (6), Levi Colburn (15), Maverick Fields (5) and Jordan Colburn II (5); two sisters: Sheila Colburn Walker and Laura Colburn Olson; three brothers: Raymond Gideon, John Gideon and Larry Joe Colburn, Jr; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends including special friends: Julie Ross Brown, Gabby Carter and his dog, Rosie.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Valerie Gideon Johnson and Ethel Freeman; a brother: Riley Gideon; maternal grandparents: William Washington Poole and Ruth Poole; and paternal grandparents: Lester Colburn and Tracie Colburn Montgomery “Miss Montgomery.”
