Alice Marie Taber, 90, of Hagerstown, passed away at 5:13 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Leland Legacy, Richmond.
Alice was born on April 4,1932 in Coles County, IL, the daughter of Paul and Flossie (Bleakley) Jones. She was united in marriage to Leon B. Taber on October 6, 1954.
Survivors include 2 sons, Randall (Randy), wife Megan, of Middleport, OH and Timothy (Tim) Taber, wife Teresa, of Richmond; a step daughter, Jean Ann Snowden, husband Bob, of Mattoon, IL; 2 grandchildren, Gary Taber and Melissa (Missy) Taber, both of Pershing; 6 step grandchildren; a sister, Katherine (Kate) Tucker, husband Bob, of Mattoon, IL; 2 sisters in law, Jean Jones of Mattoon, IL and Betty Taber of Neoga, IL; a brother in law, Floyd Landreth of Mattoon, IL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Taber; 2 sisters, Dorothy (Dot) Landreth and Mary Bolin; a brother, Frank Jones; 2 grandchildren, Shane Taber and Kara Taber; a great grandson, Brentley Taber.
Alice was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public services.
