Robert (Bob) Duane Richardson, age 65, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday February 12, 2023. He was born on April 11, 1957 in Richmond, Indiana to Robert and Beverly Thea (Reynolds) Richardson. Bob was a 1975 Richmond High School graduate and had lived in the area most of his life. He enjoyed playing pool with his daughter and friends, and was even team Captain of the Outkast Krew. He also enjoyed bowling most of his life, and went to Vincennes University on a bowling scholarship. Bob also loved to sing karaoke. His favorite song to sing was always My Way by Frank Sinatra. Bob was a loving father and grandfather and would do anything for anyone. He didn’t know a stranger. He will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Rachael (Grant) Rutledge of Anderson, Indiana; grandchildren Connor (DeeDee) Rowell of Indianapolis, Indiana, Chandler Richardson and Cameron Rutledge of Anderson, Indiana; siblings Mark (Debbie) Richardson of Knoxville, Tennessee, Gary (Pam) Richardson of Bowling Green, Ohio, Laura (Darryl) Nicholson of Greensburg, Indiana and Cheryl (Steve) Surles of Centerville, Indiana and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife Lisa Richardson, Granny Vyda Reynolds, and grandson Christian Rutledge.
A memorial service will take place at the Richmond Eagles at a later date. Condolences to the family may be made on the tribute wall.
