Virginia Nell Latham, 84, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022. She was born June 11, 1958 in Kentucky, a daughter of the late Lindel and Ola Mae (Fox) Hight.
She worked at the US Postal Service for 35 years, starting as a mail carrier then promoted to the office. Virginia loved caring for family but especially her grandson, Zachariah. She enjoyed reading and watching the game show network.
Survivors include a son, Mickey Latham of Mooreland; a grandson, Zachariah Latham; a sister, Edith Prater of Lapel; several nephews, including, Gary Ingel and Anthony Prater.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hight.
Memorial services will be 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Gary New officiating.
