Sharon Lee “Sherry” Wigginton, age 75, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, November 4, 2022, at home, surrounded by her family.
Born December 17, 1946, in Richmond, Indiana, to Robert L. and A. Marie Turner Johnson, Sherry was a life-long resident of this community. She was a 1965 graduate of Centerville High School. Sherry was an administrative staff secretary at Belden, retiring after 33 years. She was a member of the Belden 25-Year Club. Sherry loved her grandchildren and their activities, sewing, gardening, scrapbooking, and Mickey Mouse. Her most favorite times were spent at the beach with Eddie.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Lee Wigginton, of Richmond, whom she married in 2000; sons, Jeffrey L. Huber of Richmond, William “Eric” Huber of Abington, Indiana, Brian S. (Tricia) Huber of Centerville, Indiana, Eddie (Kristy) Wigginton of Richmond, Brian Wigginton also of Richmond; daughter, Melissa Wigginton of Richmond; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sandy Barnard of Lynn, Indiana, and Dena (Steve) Bird of Greenville, Ohio; Aunt, Jo Jelly, of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jerry Johnson.
Visitation for Sharon Lee “Sherry” Wigginton will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., Centerville, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., Centerville, Indiana with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
