Rodney Eugene Turner, 73, died Friday, December 16, 2022.
He was born in Richmond on January 26, 1949 to Paul and Grace (Sandlin) Turner. He was raised in Liberty, had resided in the Hagerstown area and lived most of his life in Warsaw. He was a graduate of Short High School, Liberty and Ivy Tech. He served with the US Navy and Army National Guard. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Connersville and American Legion Post 122, Liberty.
Survivors include his wife, Deanna (York) Turner; 3 children, Chad McIntire (Pamela), Emmanuel Turner and Jessica Turner; 6 grandchildren, Jordyn McIntire, Kevin McIntire, Haleigh McIntire, Elijah Villa, Gracelyn Sloan and Emma Sloan; a great-grandson, Grayson Snow; 3 siblings, Rick Turner, Randy Turner and Rebecca Holsinger; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Eugene Turner, in 1981.
Visitation will be 12 PM to 1 PM on Friday, December 23, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Brick Cemetery.
