Richard Floyd Williams, age 96, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at Arbor Trace in Richmond.
Dick was born March 18, 1926, in Muncie, Indiana, to Clinton and Daisy Pullen Williams. He graduated from Muncie Central High School and Ball State University. Dick was a U. S. Navy veteran, having served during WWII in the Philippine Islands. He taught at Parker High School from 1949 to 1951. Dick also worked at Crosley in Richmond until 1953 and finished his working career at NATCO in Richmond in the Shop Tool Design, Sales Estimating, and Fixture Engineering departments. He was a member of the NATCO 25-year Club, First Friends Meeting, a Charter Member of the Rose City Kiwanis Club, and later a member of the Richmond Golden K Club.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Raisor Williams; daughters, Sally (Steve) Williams Porter, and Linda (Tim) Williams Przybysz both of Richmond; grandsons, John (Jess) Przybysz and Tyler (Jaclyn) Przybysz; great-grandchildren, Naelyn, Arlo, Samson, Lydia Jane, and Jack Tyler; nieces; a nephew; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Adrian and Virgil.
A private graveside service will be held for the family, with burial at Earlham Cemetery. There will be no visitation hours or calling.
