Rex A. Dillman, age 61, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 20. Rex was born in Winchester, Indiana on May 31, 1961 to Donald L. & Beverly A. Adamson Dillman.

Rex was a 1979 graduate of Northeastern High School. He enjoyed growing up on a farm and continued his involvement in agriculture his whole life by pitching in and helping on his friend’s farms. Rex was formerly a bus driver for Northeastern Wayne Schools and formerly served as a Reserve Deputy Marshal in Fountain City. Rex worked at Pizza King in Greenfield for many years, holding many positions including shift manager. In his free time, he enjoyed working with computers and reading. He also enjoyed aviation and airplanes.

Rex will be missed by his parents, Don & Bev Dillman; his sister, Loree Dillman; his brother & sister-in-law, Scott & Kathy Dillman; his best friend of 22 years, Tammy Pope; his lifelong friend, Steve Meyer; nieces, nephews and his rescue cat, Tiny. Rex was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ray & Mable Adamson; and paternal grandparents, George & Pearl Dillman.

Visitation for Rex will be from 11:00 am-1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 28, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 28, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City.
