Reverend David William Caudle, 66, Gardner, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. Arrangements: Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS (913) 856-7111.

Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com David was born in Richmond, Indiana on October 10, 1956, to Earl William and Katherine Ann (Dunn) Caudle. He grew up in Richmond.

After graduating from high school, David earned a BA in Religion at Olivet Nazarene University and a Master of Theology at Nazarene Theological Seminary. On June 23, 1979, he married Brenda Joyce Harter in Richmond, Indiana. David was an ordained minister for the Church of the Nazarene and served the Lord in Illinois, Michigan, Kansas, Indiana, and Arizona. He was an avid reader who enjoyed presidential history, politics, baseball, and a good snowstorm. David’s favorite time was spent being with his grandchildren, all of whom carry a part of his legacy into the world. His family misses him deeply.

David was preceded in death by his father Earl William Caudle. He is survived by his wife Brenda; daughters Jessica (Tim) Thompson, Fishers, Indiana, and Allison (Keith) Davenport, Gardner, Kansas; son David (Elizabeth) Caudle, Indianapolis, Indiana; mother Katherine Caudle, Richmond, Indiana; sister Julia (Tom) Charlton, Richmond, Indiana and his eight grandchildren: Noah (13), Cosette (12), Stella (11), Parker (9), Colin (8), Oliver (6), Milo (3), and Samuel (2). A graveside service will be held in Centerville, Indiana at a later date.
