Pamela Lynn Lunsford, age 66, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Reid Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

Pam was born October 19, 1955, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Harold (Red) and Shirley Wright. She moved to Richmond shortly after her birth and lived the rest of her life there. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and Indiana Business College.

She married Charles (Pat) Lunsford on September 14, 1975. They were high school sweethearts, lifelong companions, and best friends.

She worked as an insurance agent and accountant at McQuiston Insurance Agency for 23 years before retiring in 2011. Pam was an avid cat lover, rescuing many cats and kittens, and had a genuine heart for animals. She shared a special bond with her son Brad, as he was devoted to caring for her over the past several years. Pam lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; basket weaving, decorating cookies at Christmas with her sister and a well-made coconut cake.

Survivors include her son, Bradley Lunsford of Richmond; sister, Terri (Linden) Harrison of Richmond; brother, Jerry (Brenda) Wright of Florida; brother-in-law, Michael (Terri) Lunsford of Eaton, Ohio; sister-in-law, Lisa (Michael) Williams of New Bern, North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pat, son Jeffrey, and brother Harold Wright Jr.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Help the Animals, P.O. Box 117, Richmond, Indiana 47375 or to Animal Care Alliance, 4101 W. National Road, Richmond, Indiana 47374.
