Nathen Duane Piper, age 24, resident of New Castle, passed away in his home Thursday, September 29, 2022. He was born July 15, 1998, in New Castle, a son of Curtis Downs and Daleleen (Whalen) Downs.
Nathen worked as a direct support professional with Indiana Mentor in New Castle. He enjoyed fishing, long drives at night, and watching Justin Herbert with the LA Chargers Football. Nathan especially loved his animals.
Nathan is survived by his wife, Alexis (Johnson) Piper; mother, Vicky Piper; three siblings, Tory (Brandon) Lloyd, Sabrina Piper, and Vincent Piper; grandmothers, Cindy Downs and Karen Piper; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles also survive.
He was preceded in death by his biological parents and his father, Tyke Piper.
