Marilyn Saylor, age 86, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Brickyard Healthcare – Muncie Care Center.

Born August 31, 1936, in Trilby, Ohio, to Elias W. and Mary Lee Bruce Cope, Marilyn had lived in this area since 1971. She worked on the assembly line at Visteon Ford for 26 years. Marilyn was very involved in the chaplain ministry of Wayne County and had traveled across the United States to prisons and jails ministering to offenders. She was a member of Bethel Chapel, Pentecostal Ministerial Association of America, and Spirit of Holiness Fellowship.

Survivors include her twin brother, Melvin Elias Cope of Toledo, Ohio; nieces; nephews; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Eugene Saylor, who died on August 23, 2009; and her parents.

Visitation for Marilyn Saylor will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Carlos Burdine officiating. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.
