Kenneth James Gardner “Jimmy,” 59, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away September 20, 2022, at Reid Health.
He was born December 27, 1962, in Richmond to Rosalee and Kenneth Pierson Sr. and he is the son of Rosalee and Richard Gardner.
He was always a dedicated hard worker, making many longtime friends along the way at Hills Roses, Star Corporation, and Milso Industries.
Jimmy loved all his family dearly and always made sure his children knew he loved them and how proud he was of them.
He is survived by his father Richard Gardner, and three children Jamie(J.T.) Murphy, Lacey (Kevin Hay) Gardner, James (Starr) Gardner, along with Nieces Summer (Jarae) Kirchner, Sa’de Reece, and nephew Ron Reece who he loved as his own; Six siblings Tony Gardner, Samantha (Frank) Fent, Linda (David) Newman, Randy Ring, Karen Mourcy, Debbie (Kevin Turner) Gardner; six Grandchildren Blake Marshall, Makaila Marshall, Tyler Murphy, Bailey Murphy, Aiden Gardner, and Seth Rivera. He is also survived by many other family members and friends whom he loved dearly.
His family would like to thank The Springs of Richmond, Meridian Health, and Reid Health Hospice for all of their care and support for Kenneth.
He is proceeded in death by his Mother Rosalee Gardner, Biological father Kenneth James Pierson Sr, son David Gardner, brother Rick Gardner, sister-in-law Sherri Reece, and his brother-in-law and dear friend Gary Reece.
