Jessy L. Board, age 36, passed away at his residence on September 18, 2022. He was born May 4, 1986, the son of James Alderson and Mary Board, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Jessy was a resident of Richmond and a former employee of CIT. He was an avid horseshoe thrower; he loved throwing shoes with his Dad and his brothers. He was also a passionate fisherman and was a longtime Colts fan. Jessy always had a smile on his face and would help anyone in any way. He loved going camping and never missed a camping trip.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his daughter: Amanda Shaffer of Arizona; his father: James Alderson; his mother: Mary Board; one sister: Jessica Board; two brothers: Joshua Board and Michael Board; four nieces: Gracie, Kylee, Dakota and Makenna; three nephews: Windle, Brandon and Xander; four aunts: Tawnie Board, Caroline Powel, Martha Hargus and Lisa Frericks; three uncles: Robert Alderson, Pat Board and Tim Rowland; and a host of cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ron Board and Carol Lee Snyder; paternal grandparents: Robert and Dorothy Alderson; and a close friend/fishing buddy: Guy.
