RICHMOND, Ind. – Jerry Duane Beck, age 85, of Centerville, Indiana, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Reid Health.

Born July 14, 1937, in Connersville, Indiana, to Jairus Eugene “Punk” and Senora Jean (Worster) Beck, Jerry was a resident of this community most of his life. He worked as a machine repairman for Dana Corporation for 43 years. Jerry was a bus driver for 36 years for Centerville-Abington School Corp. He served in the Army National Guard from 1960 to 1966. Jerry was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church and the Dana Retirement Club.

Survivors include his daughters, Pam Estes, Debra Bowling, Sandy (Jimmy) Coffey, and Chelle (Michael) Nobbe, all of Richmond; son, Jeff Beck of Centerville; sister, Mary Ann (Jerry) Moore of Daleville, Indiana; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 54 years, Patsy Ann Alexander Beck, who died in 2013; and sister, Barbara Baker.

Visitation for Jerry Duane Beck will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Ted Chalk officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
