Jared Lee Morris, age 28, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on November 24, 2022. He was born November 10, 1994, the son of Traci Morris and Ronald E. Morris, in Richmond, Indiana.
Jared loved listening to music and hanging out with his many friends. He also loved and cherished his babies. He was an avid animal lover. Jared was a warm hearted, loving and caring person that would help anyone he could even if he was down and out himself.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother: Traci L. Morris, Hagerstown, IN; his father: Ronald E. Morris (Erica), Richmond, IN; his children: Kyler Morris, Aubrianna Morris, Aaryan Morris, Camdyn Morris and Javiour Morris; maternal grandmother: Patricia Stanley, Hagerstown, IN; paternal grandparents: Sherry Fry and Ron Carey, Richmond, IN; three brothers: Joshua Morris, Liberty, IN, Derek Morris (Taylor), Richmond, IN, and Ronald T. Morris (Sage), Richmond, IN; five nieces: Madyson Short, Brianna Morris, MaKinley Short, Kinzley Morris and Braylee Morris; five nephews: Grayson Morris, Mason Short, Leo Morris, Braxton Morris and Landon Pierson; eight aunts; three uncles; seventeen cousins and a host of other relatives and friends including close friends: Amy Jo Scott, Ruthie Ann, Kennedy Sue Ann Floor and James Jones. Jared is preceded in death by a son: Boone Rae; two brothers: Matthew A. Short and Matthew Bowling; grandparents: Vern Stanley, William Short, Richard and Lucille Crigler, Larry Boyer and Roy Morris; three Aunts: Serena Short, Tracy Vill and Audrey Key; and an uncle: Richard R. Crigler.
The family wishes to give special thanks to The First Responders of Richmond for their quick response and sincere kindness. And many thanks to everyone who has reached out for their kindness and condolences during this hard and difficult time. There are no public services.
