Helen Ann White, age 86, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Arbor Trace.
Born January 21, 1935, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Lawrence J. and Helen J. Johns White, Ann had lived in Richmond for over 60 years. She was an elementary teacher for her entire career. Ann enjoyed traveling and cross-stitch and was an avid reader. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Ann also was a member of Richmond Civic Theater and was a cast member in several plays.
Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Sherman of Richmond and Pam Makela of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Katherine Makela of Indianapolis; cousins; many friends; and special friend, Sandi Cox.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Helen White, a special friend, Fred Cox.
Per Ann’s wishes, there will be no services. Doan & Mills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
