Gary Lee Stacy, age 67, passed away on October 18, 2022, at his home. Gary was born on January 18, 1955, in Connersville, the son of the late William “Bill” Stacy, Jr. and Rosetta Collins Stacy.
On April 22, 1980, in Jellico, TN, he married Evelyn I. Harrison Stacy. They spent 34 years together prior to her passing in 2014.
He retired from Niedenthal in Rushville. Gary had been employed at D & M, Ford/Visteon, and as an exhaust technician at Hunter Sales. You could often find Gary working on older Ford cars or hauling scrap. He enjoyed camping in his leisure time and his greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and friends.
His memories will be forever cherished by his two sons, Gary Wayne (Danielle) Stacy and Alvin L. (Ashley) Stacy; his brother, Larry E. (Charlene) Stacy and a sister Rose (Randy) Oldham. Gary will be thought of often by his seven grandchildren, Taylor Stacy, Alexis McQueen, Sue Stacy, Brittany Hunter, Eddie Littleton, Courtney Pope and Ashley Miller; four great grandchildren and another one on the way, as well has his companion, Mary Baker.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his stepson, Jeremy Pope.
Friends may visit with the family at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville on Saturday October 22, 2022, from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Respecting and honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen.
