Donald Eugene Myers, 90, of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Friends Fellowship, where he had resided for the past 5 years. He was born on the family farm on September 24, 1932, to Charles and Helen (Harvey) Myers. He attended Hagerstown High School and graduated in 1950. In 1958 he married Judy Williamson, whom he shared his life with for 48 years until her death in 2006. Donnie spent his career in agriculture, as a dairy farmer, and later as a crop farmer. Later in life, he enjoyed his time at Kamp Modoc. Donnie was a charter member of the Economy Lions Club and a member of the Hagerstown United Methodist Church. He enjoyed many years involved in a Young Farmers Group.

Donnie is survived by two daughters, Larnell (Donnie) Dunaway, Marla (Mike) Lieberman; three grandsons, Shaun (Casey) Lieberman, Todd (Melissa) Lieberman, and Chad (Sydney) Lieberman; a bonus granddaughter, Maria Lieberman; five great-grandchildren, Jake, Ty, Izzy, Nora, and Ruby; three bonus great-grandchildren, Mason, Alyssa, and Evelyn; several nieces, nephews, and special friend, Ermadean House.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Mahoney and her husband, Myron and their sons, Mark and Dave, as well as Donnie’s sister in-law Sue Newman, her husband Willard and their son, Mike.

Donnie shared his love for family and life wherever he went. You could always count on him for a joke or a story, often about an encounter with a dear relative or friend, a car or tractor he once owned, an experience on the farm, or some innocent mischief as a youngster.

A graveside service will be held at West Lawn Cemetery in Hagerstown on Saturday, December 3rd at 2pm. An open house will follow at Hartley Hills Country Club. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin has been entrusted with the services of Donald Myers. Online condolences can be made anytime at www.marshallanderleweinfuneralhome.com
