Deborah Kay Rains (Martin), 65, of New Castle, IN, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 10, 1957 Hamilton, OH, a daughter of Buck Martin and Wanda Bradley.
Debbie attended and graduated from Hamilton High School. On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1978, she was married to Spencer Lee Rains. Together they enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and helped with benefit rides. Debbie loved all genres of music and spending time at home with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughters, Jamey Carey, Angela (Dale) Kidwell and Natasha (Travis) Dixon; grandchildren, Austin Sullivan, Dalton Carey, Ashlynn Carey (Trevor Raynor), Alyssa Kidwell, Sara Kidwell, Breanna Kidwell, Adreann Dixon, Montanna Dixon, Shyann Dixon, Travis Dixon Jr., Stephen Spears, Donta Smith and Cody Ellis; great-grandchildren, Paizley, Spencer, Ava, Hunter, Amara, Grayson and Mayson;
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Spencer Rains and a brother, Rick Martin.
Following Debbie’s request, a celebration of life will be held at a later time.
