David N. Christopher, age 86, of Richmond, Indiana, died Monday, November 14, 2022, at Harbour Manor in Noblesville, Indiana.
Born October 13, 1936, on his parent’s farm in Camden, Ohio, to Raymond and Rosella Dane Christopher, David was a life-long resident of this area. He worked rebuilding transmissions in this area for many years and retired from Ford Transmission (Visteon). David was a member of Eaton Church of God. He enjoyed model trains, attending auctions, mushroom hunting, fishing, and feeding the neighborhood cats.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Zona Joy Roberts Christopher; son, Scott (Lianna) Christopher; daughter by marriage, Dana Wilson of Richmond; step-son, Timothy (Grace) Hymer of Richmond; grandchildren, Chuck Whitaker, Alisa Caldwell, Shane Wilson, Gabriel Hymer, Daniel Hymer, Alex Christopher, Arianne Christopher, and Travis Christopher; sister, Rosemary (Lloyd) Drew of Loveland, Colorado; brother, Wayne Christopher of Hamilton; sisters-in-law, Ronda Christopher and Evy Christopher; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Rosella Christopher; stepson, Jami Hymer; and brothers, Ronald & Eugene Christopher; nephew, Troy Christopher; and niece, Deborah Fleming.
Visitation for David N. Christopher will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main St., Centerville, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at Mills Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery.
