Darrell Norman Parshall, age 77, of Richmond, Indiana, died Monday, December 5, 2022, at Golden Living South.
Born January 2, 1945, in Richmond, to Elmer and Laura Virginia McManus Parshall, Darrell was a life-long resident of this area. He was a graduate of Centerville High School and attended Purdue University. Darrell served in the United States Army and was a member of American Legion Post #65. He retired from Masterbrand/Kemper Cabinets. Darrell had a fond love of sports – baseball, basketball, softball, golf, and roller skating. He was a big fan of college sports.
Survivors include his son, Vince and Kim Parshall of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Joseph of Metairie, Louisiana.; and caregiver and special friend, Linda Frame.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vincent and Ted Parshall; and sister, Ginnie Lou Moffitt.
The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Living South for taking great care of Darrell during his short stay there.
Visitation for Darrell Norman Parshall will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home.
