Betty June Spalding Jackson, age 83, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022.
Born June 13, 1939, in Richmond, Indiana, to Carl and Gladys Spalding, Betty lived in Richmond for many years before moving to Muncie and later to Ft. Wayne.
Survivors include her daughter, Jana (Ray) Melendez; two grandsons. Benjamin and Zachary Melendez; sisters, Charlotte Grable and Joan Bailey; brothers, Jim (Linda) Spalding and Jerry (Jeanne) Spalding; sisters-in-law, Shirley Martin Spalding and Ellamarie Spalding; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Jackson; parents; son, Aaron Timothy Goins; sisters, Pat Spalding and Gladys Todd; and brothers, Carl, Albert, George, Dick and Eddie Spalding.
No funeral or memorial service for Betty June Spalding Jackson is scheduled at this time. Family will notify loved ones in the future when a Celebration of Life will be held.
