Bethel Watson Sells, 80, of Shirley, IN went home to be with the Lord while holding the hand of his granddaughter, Breanna, on the morning of Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
He was born on March 17, 1942 in New Castle, IN, a son of the late Elmer and Beatrice (Dowdy) Sells.
Bethel graduated from Walter P. Chrysler Memorial High School in 1961. In 1963 he married the love of his life, Tina Marie Riley. Together they enjoyed 59 years of marriage. He was very strong in his Christian faith and loved the Lord with all of his heart. Bethel enjoyed Jimmy Swaggart’s songs, bluegrass music and family trips to Gatlinburg, TN. His face would light up when he saw his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially as his passing grew near.
