Bernice P. Mitchell, age 79, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Reid Health.
Born March 1, 1943, in Richmond, Indiana, to Clyde and Lora Bell White, Bernice was a life-long resident of this community. She was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing and spending time with family. Bernice was a kind and loving person. Everyone she met loved her! She touched so many hearts and will be so greatly missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Anita (Bob) Klein of Connersville, Indiana; granddaughters, Misti (Cody) Shouse , Nicole Mitchell, and Lisa Klein, all of Richmond, Indiana; grandsons, TJ Brockman and Mike (Anne) Klein of Richmond, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Ashley Klein, Malaya Dawson, Jayci Brockman, Piper Pugh, Laila Lee, Ember Shouse, Elora Shouse; great-great grandchildren, Rhett Klein, Tate Coon; sisters, Letha Abrams, Ellen Bolton, and Edie Forshey; special friend, Lou Hubble; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Bobby R. Mitchell Sr., son, Bobby Mitchell Jr., and parents.
Visitation for Bernice P. Mitchell will be from 11:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Earlham Memorial Mausoleum.
