Annas K. Davis, 94, formerly of Richmond, passed away peacefully in her apartment at Sanders Glen Assisted Living Facility in Westfield, Indiana on the morning of October 19, 2022. She was born in Connersville, Indiana on April 3, 1928 to William and Hazel Riggs Blommel. She was a 1946 Graduate of Connersville High School and was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority since 1950. Annas and her husband Clarence E. Davis were married for 61 years before his passing in 2008. Annas attended the First Christian Church. They lived in Richmond most of their married life until moving to Westfield in 2005, to be close to their two children.
Annas worked at Hill Floral Products as a bookkeeper before her children were born, then was a homemaker for many years until her children were in High School. Annas returned to work at Hill’s retiring in 1990. She supported her husband in their businesses at Clear Creek Laundry and Barber Shop.
Annas enjoyed traveling with her family in their camper and has visited all the lower 48 states. She was loved by many, was always lighthearted and fun and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Stephen (1955), husband Clarence Davis, brothers and sisters-in-law, James Blommel (Ruth), William Blommel (Heloise) and Henry Blommel (Catherine).
Left to cherish her memory are her children Joel Davis (Melissa) of Westfield, Carol Hansen (Bruce) of Westfield, grandchildren Stephen Davis (Stephanie) of Westfield, Kent Olsen (Alexis) of Carmel IN, Haley Klein (Eli) of Indianapolis and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday October 31, 2022 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, with a visitation from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Stan Howard will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery.
